A Baja Love Story

OUR WEDDING WEEKEND

We celebrated our wedding in the charming town of Todos Santos, about an hour north of Cabo San Lucas. In November 2025, we brought 85 of our closest family and friends to this special place for four unforgettable nights. I had always dreamed of a destination wedding, and while many warned us it would be difficult to plan, our experience was quite the opposite. Of course, there were a few challenges along the way, but overall the process felt surprisingly seamless. We were incredibly fortunate to have an amazing planner (I’ll share all of our resources below), along with the unwavering support of our families, who helped us immensely—both mentally and financially.

WHY TODOS SANTOS?

Christian and I are both adventurous people—we thrive on the thought of getting on a plane and exploring a new country. Although we had both already been to Mexico, this little nook of Baja immediately intrigued us. We loved the idea that it was remote, off the grid, with small-town surf vibes. We wanted our weekend to feel like a vacation - laid back, but while celebrating our love. I’d say we nailed that :)

THE NIGHT BEFORE

We held our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Cien Palmas, the cutest boutique hotel tucked into downtown Todos Santos. Surrounded by our closest family and friends, we listened to heartfelt speeches and enjoyed an incredible dinner prepared by the Cien Palmas team. After dinner, the rest of our wedding guests arrived and joined us for a laid-back evening under the palms—taking shots, sharing laughs, and soaking in the magic of the night before the big day.

WEEKEND OUTFITS

I bought my wedding dress from Grace Loves Lace, and my rehearsal dinner dress from Kamperett

BRIDESMAIDS

I’m a visual person so each event had a moodboard. The girls had these colors to choose from & my maid of honor (Paige) & matron of honor (Sav) wore the coffee brown color. I had 10 bridesmaids & knew I could never just choose one color, I loved the idea of everyone’s dresses catered to their personal style!

GROOMSMAN

Christian and I both wanted a classic, timeless look so when we look back on photos we would never regret the colors we decided, while the girls were more colorful, we did the opposite for the guys.

MEANINGFUL MOMENTS

When it came down to getting our bridal party gifts, we wanted to do something meaningful that they could use long after the wedding & they would think of our weekend when they used it. I thrifted all my girls robes throughout the year: Depop, Goodwill, Buffalo Exchange… I found 12 perfect robes (10 bridesmaids & 2 moms) and brought a rack to Mexico to hang them the morning off. I made cute name tags & hand wrote each of them a letter.

Christian bought his groomsman boardshorts & embroidered each of their initials into the backpocket. They all ended up wearing them on the Sunday pool party and it was memorable!

WEDDING PHOTOS

I knew I wanted a large album of film so having Ashley & Isa there to photograph the day was the best decision I made. They captured the day perfectly & I am forever grateful for them! For video- we didn’t care to have the cinematic style video, I bought a Super 8mm camera (Canon 310XL) & we had 2 friends help us film the important moments, the ceremony & moments of just Christian & I on the beach during sunset.
