Back in June, my sweet friend Carly asked if I would create content for her and her now-husband, Griffin. I was absolutely honored to capture their day—through nothing more than the lens of an iPhone. It turned out to be the most stunning, heartfelt celebration, made even more meaningful by the fact that they got married at Carly’s childhood home. The whole wedding felt so intimate and personal, perfectly reflecting their relationship. The decor and colors were beautiful, blending seamlessly into the atmosphere of the day. I captured everything from behind-the-scenes setup, the girls getting ready, guests arriving and embracing, family photos, and all the little in-between moments leading up to their first dance. It was a project unlike anything I had done before, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Being so present with my camera made me notice every detail as the wedding unfolded before my eyes—it was truly special.
